Water Jetting For ferrous and non-ferrous metals, a minimum of an SSPC-SP 12/NACE No 5 – Surface Preparation and Cleaning of Metals by Waterjetting Prior to Recoating and to a visual standard of WJ-2 Very Thorough or Substantial Cleaning.
For Fiberglass or gelcoat bottoms, all paints must be removed to bare substrate and the surface profile must be a minimum of 1-2 mils.
